Project-Course Overview
The following projects introduced the fundamentals of illustrated graphics and builds a foundation based on concepts such as path, drawing tools, Bezier curves, vector vs. raster images, color theory including practical techniques used to create professional artwork. These concepts and techniques can be applied to illustration creation and manipulation for the web, print motion graphics, animation gaming, and other digital media Ethical principles and legal guidelines including copyright will be covered and applied during the production of several vector images. This course utilized a hands-on approach to creating vector-based artwork using Adobe illustrator the de facto standard for producing vector graphics Fundamental design principles will be learned and applied to various real-world projects. The course will start with the fundamentals and progress through a series of projects which identify the various uses of the software to create vector-based images.
Course Learned Outcomes:
Applied fundamental concepts of vector image composition to create professional digital media.
Identified and describe vector image editing techniques and their use in the development of digital media for current and emerging applications.
Used industry standard software to create and manipulate vector artwork following workflow processes for delivery across multiple platforms, Including print, Web sites, interactive projects, and video.

cOLORING BOOK pROJECT
This project is designed to incorporate the main tools that a designer uses to create vector art, such as the pen tool, colors, and shapes. A design component of a coloring book page is the use of patterns and line work. The theme of design is your choice. Some ideas include: favorite cartoon, sports, music, pop art, art deco, famous landmarks or places. Also keep in mind, that you are graded on the overall design of the page. The coloring book page should follow good design principles. It should be detailed and visually appealing.

logo pROJECT
For this project, a company has approached you to design a logo. You completed the initial meeting with them to gather information about the company. Now, you must follow the logo design process to create a logo that depicts the company’s message and identity.

Motion Blur pROJECT
This project requires you to add a Photoshop blur effect along a path to an image you select in order to create the illusion of movement.

You have been hired as a graphic designer for a famous Movie Studio. Your first project is to come up with a movie poster design for the next big SUPERHERO OR SCIENCE FICTION blockbuster.

Under the guidance of LinkedIn instructor Jen Kramer I use webflow.com to create a factitious for a hotel that offers a variety of luxurious services. The point was to create an easy navigation user experience for a customer who is interested in the hotels services. The project involves the creation of a website for a hotel with a featured home page and links to other pages. I also designed the mobile app image below under the guidance of an instructor using Figma.

STORYBOARDING/WIREFRAMING PROJECT
I created a storyboard and wireframes for a fictitious digital media magazine using web design and digital design. This project was completed with canva.
